指示代词在句子做主语，宾语，定语
1.this,these指时间或空间较近的人或事物。Theoldestbuildinghereisthis,notthat.
2.that，these指时间或空间较远的人或事物
3.为了避免重复上文提到的名词，使用that，those代替，（that代替不可数名词和单数名词，those代替复数名词）TheweatherinHarbinismuchcolderthanthatinBeijing.
BikesmadeinChinaarejustasgoodasthosemadeinGermany.中国产的自行车和德国产的一样好。
Thenewsisbetterthanthat.这个消息比那个好。
4.this和that有时表示程度，相当于so
