考查不定代词的用法。句意：——夫人，这两件外套怎么样？——两件都不适合我，请再给我看看另一件好吗？根据第一句中的“two”可知谈到两者；根据语境可知，需要看另外一件，所以这两件都不适合，故用 neither；another 指不确定数目中的另一个。故选 B。

except 表示“除……之外”，except 的宾语排除在外，besides 表示“除……外（还有）”，besides 的宾语算在内；but 表示“除……外”时，与 except 同义，但是 but 常和 no one，nobody，nothing 等表示否定意义的词连用。如：

They went there except Tom.
