特殊疑问词why，what和where

1.why意为“为什么”，用于询问原因、理由。why 引导的特殊疑问句一般用because来回答。

● —Whywere you late？

你为什么迟到？

一BecauseI got up late.

因为我起床晚了。

● —Whydo you work so hard？

你为什么这么努力学习？

—BecauseI want to pass the exam.

因为我想通过考试。

2.what 意为“什么”，可以对事件、姓名、地址、天气等进行提问，还可以和名词一起构成疑问词组，如what color、what time等。

● —Whatdo you often do after school？

放学后你经常做什么？

—I often play basketball with my friends.

我经常和朋友们打篮球。

3.where意为“在哪里”，用来询问位置和地点。

● —Whereis your mom？

你妈妈在哪儿？

—She is in the kitchen.
