一般过去时（4）

在前几个模块中，我们学习了一般过去时的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及其回答。那么如果要询问别人过去做了什么、到什么地方去了、怎么去的等等，又该如何说呢？

首先让我们看下面几个例句：

● —When did he die?

他什么时候去世的？

● —He died in 1919.

他是1919年去世的。

● —Why did they want him?

他们为什么要找他？

● —Because they needed him to help them.

因为他们需要他的帮助。

● —How long did the space flight last?

这次太空飞行持续了多长时间？

● —It lasted twenty-one hours.

持续了21小时。

很明显，一般过去时的特殊疑问句与一般现在时的特殊疑问句在结构上并没有太大差别，只是使用的助动词不同而已。不过，同学们在使用中要注意不同疑问词的意义及其回答方式。
